Description

This tool offers a multifaceted way to identify and evaluate contextual factors for helping or hindering scalability. In addition, it provides a structured process for identifying information gaps and determining the feasibility of scalability.

Steps for Using Method/Tool

The tool guides users through a series of questions organized into 10 domains, divided into two sections:

1. Setting the Scene – proposed level and method of scale up

2. Intervention and Implementation Planning – factors that help and hinder

These summaries are written by the NCCMT to condense and to provide an overview of the resources listed in the Registry of Methods and Tools and to give suggestions for their use in a public health context.
