Description

This tool works through the priority-setting processes and highlights differences in the process for issues that are high priority, time sensitive or on-going.

Steps for Using Method/Tool

The tool guides users through four questions:

  1. Does the approach to prioritization specify timelines for addressing high-priority issues in different ways?
  2. Does the approach incorporate explicit criteria for determining priorities?
  3. Does the approach provide an explicit process for determining priorities?
  4. Does the process incorporate a communications strategy and a monitoring and evaluation plan?
