Description

This method outlines a comprehensive process for decision making in public health. Public health planning is often ad hoc and based on a single criterion rather than a complete contextual analysis. This method advocates for a multi-criteria approach to increase fairness, rationality and transparency in decision making.

Steps for Using Method/Tool

Users create a performance matrix with multiple criteria for each potential intervention. Once created, users analyze the performance matrix to reach a decision about which intervention meets priority criteria.
